Firebase Connection
Paste your Firebase web-app config below and press Save & Connect to turn on
live multi-device sync and real reader analytics. To get it:
- Create a project at console.firebase.google.com
- Enable Firestore Database (Rules tab → Test mode)
- Project Settings → Your apps → Web () → copy the
firebaseConfigobject - Paste it below and connect.
Cloudinary Media Uploads
Cloudinary stores your images and videos in the cloud, so articles can hold much larger media
(images up to 10MB, videos up to 50MB) and sync cleanly with Firebase.
- Sign up free at cloudinary.com
- Copy your Cloud Name (dashboard, top left)
- Settings → Upload → Add upload preset (mode: Unsigned) → copy the preset name
How It Works
The site works fully offline using browser storage. Once Firebase is connected:
- Readers Online counter and the 7-day chart become live.
- All content syncs between your devices automatically.
- Cloudinary uploads appear as cloud URLs instead of heavy base64 data, so large media is fine.
